What is Taxifolin?
In the mid-1950s, scientists first extracted and characterized Taxifolin, or Dihydroquercetin, which is an analogue of quercetin or rutin but with slightly different properties. Taxifolin (international name) is a unique substance belonging to the group of natural flavonoids, extracted from Siberian larch wood. It is at least 11 times more powerful than other antioxidants. Its antioxidant effect is enhanced by the addition of antioxidant vitamins C and E to the composition. It displays vitamin P activities, strengthens the choroid and reduces allergic and inflammatory reactions, and also has many properties not shared by the majority of other bioflavonoids. Most of the research on taxifolin has been carried out in Russia at the Institute of Aviation and Space Medicine, Military Medical Academy (named after SM Kirov), Central Military Hospital (named after NN Burdenko) , Central Military Clinical Hospital 6 and Institute of the Human Brain at the Russian Academy of Sciences. With high purity and strong antioxidant ability, Taxifolin is considered one of the strongest antioxidant and anti-aging active ingredients in nature today. Taxifolin’s antioxidant capacity is many times higher than Vitamin B, C, Beta-carotene and Tocoferol (vitamin E). At a purity of over 97%, Taxifolin reaches an ORAC antioxidant index of 104.126 µmole TE/gram, 55 times more than Vitamin C (according to data from the US Brunswick Research Center). ORAC index is Taxifolin’s ability to absorb free radicals. With its unique, sustainable molecular structure and high ORAC index, Taxifolin is recognized as the only natural substance that can absorb all free radicals and neutralize their harmful effects.
Uses of Nano Taxifolin
1. Inhibits oxidative stress and inflammation
Taxifolin has been shown to be a powerful neutralizer of free radicals, capable of destroying the two most dangerous forms present in the human body: superoxide and peroxide radicals. It also has a protective effect on red and white blood cells. Studies show that it protects white blood cells from environmental damage, and in red blood cells, it prevents oxidative cell death.
The antioxidant effect of taxifolin was studied in Wistar rats with experimental hepatitis induced by methane tetrachloride. The animals were divided into three groups: 9 animals received subcutaneous injections of methane tetrachloride for four days, another 9 animals received taxifolin (100mg/kg) injections for four days before the first methane tetrachloride injection and for 14 days afterward, and The third group was not given anything.
The content of lipid peroxidation products reacting with thiobarbituric acid in the group injected only with methane tetrachloride increased 1.5 times compared to the control group and the group injected with taxifolin. In a similar way to increase resistance, their plasma antioxidant activity is 1.8-2 times lower than other animals.
Taxifolin is one of the most powerful flavonoids in nature

2. Strengthen the body’s immune system
Studies show that taxifolin increases resistance to help the body fight serious infections such as pneumonia or HIV.
Researchers examined the effects of taxifolin on patients with acute pneumonia. When subjects following a standard treatment were supplemented with an antioxidant formula containing taxifolin, they recovered better from pneumonia symptoms than patients receiving traditional treatment alone 15 .
Preliminary studies seem to indicate that taxifolin may help fight the HIV virus. It was recently discovered to inhibit the activity of an enzyme used by viruses such as HIV to replicate genes.Nano Taxifolin is produced using modern Nano technology
Nano technology has overcome the weakness of Taxifolin’s poor absorption by reducing Taxifolin to a microscopic form with a size of 20-30nm without completely changing the original chemical structure and biological nature. , providing products with high safety, outstanding efficiency and speed. This ultra-small size and a new generation of targeted packaging will help Nano Taxifolin be completely soluble in water, increasing bioavailability hundreds of times compared to normal molecular size.
Exclusive preparation process of Nano Taxifolin microemulsion system of Nhat Hai New Technology Joint Stock Company
Nano Taxifolin in liquid form is superior thanks to:
Taxifolin raw material from Siberian larch tree with 98% purity imported from the EU and auxiliary ingredients imported from the US and EU meet international pharmacopoeia standards. The size of medicinal medicinal particles is extremely small, only 20-30 nm. Taxifolin Nano particles are spherical, stable, and not destroyed by gastric acid. Microemulsion form completely dissolves in water, absorbing 99.9% into blood and cells. Exclusive PEG and PLA encapsulating membranes target the exact location of the injury. Nano Taxifolin is hundreds of times more effective than regular Taxifolin.
