Passionate about research and invention, businessman Luu Hai Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nhat Hai New Technology Joint Stock Company – a science and technology enterprise of the Capital – has raised the value of turmeric, flowers, ginkgo berries, milk thistle and dozens of valuable Vietnamese medicinal herbs into high-value nano products.

In 2009, Mr. Luu Hai Minh decided to “turn sideways” into nanotechnology research after many years of working with the Information Technology industry. “The advice of a famous professor of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and my new orientations led me to the field associated with the foundational technology of this Industrial Revolution 4.0”, Mr. Minh remembers. again.
Starting with the study of nano extracted from yellow turmeric (scientific name is nano curcumin), Mr. Minh and his team found that even though it only accounts for 3% of turmeric’s composition, after ultrasonic emulsification under high pressure distilled that precious essence. Nano curcumin after being emulsified reaches a smaller size than human cells, so it can easily penetrate diseased cells to heal wounds.
After about a year of doing nearly 2,000 experiments and spending a large amount of money, businessman Luu Hai Minh and his colleagues have selected 10 samples that are equivalent to German nano curcumin products for testing at the National Institute of Control. national experience. In 2016, the process of preparing curcumin nanoemulsion system of Mr. Luu Hai Minh was granted an exclusive patent by the National Office of Intellectual Property (Ministry of Science and Technology).
Vietnam has more than 10,000 kinds of plants that are precious medicinal herbs, when prepared with nanotechnology, it will bring a rich and valuable source of functional foods, but how can these herbs support the treatment of humans? sick? That concern prompted Mr. Minh to continue developing the process of preparing microemulsions from Ginkgo Biloba, flowers, hibiscus, soybean sprouts, etc. Up to now, Mr. Luu Hai Minh has completed and published it. signed 30 nanotechnology application patents, of which 7 processes – products have been granted Patents and utility solutions.
Not only bringing to domestic consumers high-quality functional foods, businessman Luu Hai Minh also takes the lead in digital transformation and promoting e-commerce. Nanotechnology products “Made in Vietnam” of Nhat Hai New Technology Joint Stock Company have appeared on prestigious e-commerce platforms and developed markets to 12 countries, including difficult markets. such as Japan, the United States, Germany, etc.
The product that helps elevate Vietnamese medicinal plants of Nhat Hai New Technology Joint Stock Company has been recognized as a key industrial product of Hanoi city. Consecutive years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, the company’s products entered the top 2, the top 3 in the “Consumer favorite” poll organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade. The company was also awarded many certificates of merit and flags from the Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee for its contributions to the capital’s high-tech field.
